My Soul is a Puzzle

My Soul is a Puzzle,

It is very complex.

All the various pieces

Are the traits I express.

The first is Innocence,

Which is followed by Curiosity.

They help me learn about

The beautiful world all around me.

When I am around family and friends,

The two pieces used are Love and Kindness.

For being true and sharing experiences,

My two pieces are Honesty and Generosity.

The pieces of Responsibility and Determination

Help me focus on my work.

While my own Creativity

Is the path of my future.

The piece of Fairness helps me to befriend anyone

No matter the race, religion, or gender.

Respect and Citizenship aid in

Being a part of the community we share together.

Every person’s soul

Is a puzzle it seems.

Each with different pieces

To accomplish their dreams.

Planet Earth

Land;

lush and green,

            grows trees, flowers, and food

            in Spring and Summer

                        symbolizes rebirth.

Sea;

the big blue,

            filled with strange animals

            in an unknown world

                        not yet been discovered.

Sky;

up above,

            brings down rain, sleet, and snow

            shows the sun and moon

                        with clouds as their covers.

Earth;

our dear home,

            so beautiful and pure

            need to protect its

                        never-ending wonders.
