Hello and Welcome to Alyssa Raven Fowler Creations.

Alyssa Raven Fowler is the author and illustrator of the Cryptic Casters book series for middle grade readers. It is a fantastical story of a friendship that spans two different worlds.

Alyssa first developed the idea of the Cryptic Casters book series during her senior year at Tuscarora High School. Her concepts were based on her interests in mythological creatures, cryptids, and the paranormal. Movies, TV shows, books, and video games in the Fantasy genre also served as sources of inspiration.

Alyssa is a 2013 graduate of Hood College and has a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Archaeology, with a focus in Studio Art. In 2017, she obtained a certificate in Computer Graphics from Frederick Community College.

Alyssa was diagnosed with high-functioning autism when she was three and a half years old. After overcoming the challenges and obstacles of her diagnosis, Alyssa strives to be a role model for others to continue reaching for their dreams.

She currently lives with her parents and her dog, Ginger.
